This Culinary Arts is a 15-week program that prepares participants for entry-level employment in the culinary field.
The programs include essential skills training.
This class is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and specific proficiencies of culinary arts, food service, supervisory, and other related skills that are necessary for earning a successful career in the hospitality industry.
Areas of focus include knife safety, a variety of cultural food preparation techniques, dining room management, food cost analysis, menu planning, and food safety adherence.
Our curriculum allows students to complete over 120 hours of hands-on restaurant experience at WEPA Café. Students successfully completing this program will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to take the ServSafe Certification endorsed by the National Restaurant Association.
